Steel structure assembly without mechanical lifting in chemical industry environments
Summary:
Installation of a steel structure in the highest area of the factory, which included precise scheduling of installation work, compliance with site safety requirements and adaptation to existing plant operations.
Challenge:
The construction had to be carried out in an area where the floor load capacity was only 500 kg/m², so the use of mechanical equipment was not possible; therefore, the lifting equipment had to be attached to the load-bearing structure of the building, while the work had to be carried out in a confined space and under continuous operation.
