ME Engineering Kft. guarantees with its data management information that it processes personal data in accordance with applicable laws and takes all security, organizational and technical measures to protect the security of the data.

Terms used in the information
Personal data: any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person ('data subject'); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, a number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person;
The data subject's consent: any freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous indication of the data subject's wishes by which the data subject, by a statement or by a clear affirmative action, signifies agreement to the processing of personal data concerning him or her;
Protest: the statement of the data subject objecting to the processing of his/her personal data and requesting the termination of the data processing or the deletion of the processed data;
Data controller: the natural or legal person, public authority, agency or any other body which, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data; where the purposes and means of the processing are determined by Union or Member State law, the controller or the specific criteria for the designation of the controller may also be determined by Union or Member State law;
Data management: any operation or set of operations which is performed on personal data or data files, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organisation, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction.
Data transmission: making the data accessible to a specific third party;
Disclosure: making data accessible to anyone;
Data deletion: making data unrecognizable in such a way that its recovery is no longer possible;
Data processing: the performance of technical tasks related to data processing operations, regardless of the method and means used to perform the operations and the place of application, provided that the technical task is performed on the data;
Data processor: the natural or legal person, public authority, agency or any other body which processes personal data on behalf of the controller;
Third party: the natural or legal person, public authority, agency or any other body other than the data subject, the controller, the processor or the persons who, under the direct authority of the controller or processor, are authorised to process personal data.

The personal data processed must meet the following requirements:
- their recruitment and treatment are fair and lawful;
- accurate, complete and, where necessary, up-to-date;
- the method of storage is suitable so that the data subject can be identified only for the time necessary for the purpose of storage.
We may only transfer personal data and combine different data processing operations if you have expressly consented to this or if the law permits it, and if the above conditions for data processing are met for each individual piece of personal data.
The court, the prosecutor and the investigating authority, or other bodies based on legal authorization, may contact ME Engineering Kft. -t for the purpose of providing information, communicating or transferring data, or making documents available. The request must specify the exact purpose of the data processing and the scope of the requested data. The request may only concern the personal data that is absolutely necessary to achieve the purpose of the request.
Data processing related to the services of ME Engineering Kft. is partly based on the clear and voluntary consent of the data subject and partly on law. In the case of data processing based on consent, consent can be withdrawn at any time.
The processing of personal data is lawful if it meets one of the following conditions:
- the data subject has given consent to the processing of his or her personal data for one or more specific purposes;
- the processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party, or in order to take steps at the data subject's request prior to entering into a contract;
- the processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the controller is subject;
- the processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the controller or by a third party, unless such interests are overridden by the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject which require protection of personal data, in particular where the data subject is a child.
We would like to draw the attention of data providers to the fact that if they do not provide their own personal data, the data provider is obliged to obtain the consent of the data subject/data subject.
Purpose, legal basis and duration of the processing of personal data in relation to each specific data processing
6.1. Management of user/customer data
Scope of data processed: full name, telephone number, email address, billing name and address
Purpose of data management: To clearly identify users using the services of ME Engineering Kft. and to provide the service to those authorized to do so.
The legal basis for data processing is: fulfillment of the contractual obligation undertaken, possibly the enforcement of the legitimate interest of the Data Controller.
Personal data used for invoicing is processed in accordance with the provisions of the Accounting Act in order to fulfill legal obligations.
Duration of data management: we delete the data from our system no later than 5 years after the termination of the contract between us. An exception to this is the range of data used for invoicing, which must be retained for 8 years from the date of issue of the invoice in order to comply with the legal requirements relating to accounting, so if five years have passed since the termination of the contract before the expiry of this period, the data may be deleted at the earliest after the expiry of the 8-year period.

Legal basis for data processing: your explicit consent
Duration of data processing: if you do not wish to be our customer based on our response, we will delete you from our records immediately and automatically after your response. For information on becoming our customer, see Section 6.1.
6.3 Storage and security of personal data
ME Engineering Ltd. Its IT systems and other data storage locations are located in a separate server room operated at its headquarters. The servers are protected by multiple firewalls and are operated by a designated employee of our company.
When selecting, purchasing and operating its IT equipment, ME Engineering Kft. takes into account and ensures that the personal data processed is only accessible to authorized persons, its origin can be verified and is authentic.
ME Engineering Ltd.. does its utmost to protect against computer-aided fraud, espionage, sabotage, vandalism, fire and flood, as well as computer viruses, computer intrusions and denial-of-service attacks, and ME Engineering Kft. ensures security with server-level and application-level protection procedures.
Legal remedies
7.1 Contact us with confidence!
Under the applicable regulations, you have the following options to exercise your rights to your personal data.
- The right to request information: You can request information from us via the contact details provided, which data our company processes, on what legal basis, for what data processing purpose, from what source, and for how long. Upon your request, we will send information to the e-mail address you provided immediately, but no later than within 30 days.
- The right to rectification: You can ask us to modify any of your data via the contact details provided. We will take action on your request immediately, but no later than 30 days, and we will send information about the action taken to the email address you provided.
- The right to erasure: You can request us to delete your data via the contact details provided. We will do this immediately upon your request, but no later than within 30 days, and we will send information to the e-mail address you provided. We would like to inform you that data processed due to the obligation incumbent on the Data Controller and necessary for the performance of the contract cannot be deleted as long as the contract is in force.
- The right to block: You can request us to block your data via the contact details provided. The blocking will last as long as the reason you have indicated requires the storage of the data. We will do this immediately, but no later than 30 days, upon your request and will send information to the email address you have provided.
- The right to protest: You may object to data processing via the contact details provided. We will examine the objection as soon as possible from the date of submission of the request, but no later than 15 days, make a decision on its validity, and inform you of the decision by e-mail.
If you experience data processing that you believe is unlawful, please notify our company, so that the legal situation can be restored within a short time. We will do everything in your interest to resolve the problem outlined.
7.2 National Data Protection and Freedom of Information Authority
Anyone can initiate an investigation at the Authority on the grounds that a violation of the law has occurred or that there is an immediate risk of such a violation in connection with the processing of personal data.

7.3 Judicial enforcement
In the event of a violation of his or her rights, the data subject may take legal action against ME Engineering Ltd. The court will proceed with the case without delay.
The trial falls within the jurisdiction of the Metropolitan Court, but at your discretion, you may also appeal to a court with jurisdiction and competence in your place of residence.
The provisions of the Information Act and the GDPR shall govern any points not analyzed in detail in this information.
